The headings are fjórðunga lok iiij. háttr ‘couplets’ closure, the fourth verse-form’ (Tˣ) and fjórðunga lok (U(47r)). The syntactic variant is quite common in dróttkvætt stanzas, and Snorri uses it in sts 3, 6-7, 29, 32, 34, 41, 43, 47-8, 50, 53, 59-60. It is never used systematically throughout an entire poem.
