The stanza is in both A and B recension mss, with the exception of 109a IIˣ. The metre is fornyrðislag. — [5-6]: With Edd. Min. and Frið 1914 this edn follows the wording of Holm10 VI and 27ˣ rather than that of the B redaction mss, preferred by Frið 1901, Skj B and Skald: þér mun ek gjalda | þínar hnossir ‘I will reward you for your precious objects’ (hnoss is used of the ring Friðþjófr gives Ingibjǫrg in Frið 37/8).
