Þá kom Þorkell að og kvað Kormák mart illt gera og var málóði, snýr inn skyndilega og kveður Steingerði af stofunni. Ganga þau út um aðrar dyr og lýkur hann hana í einu útibúri, kvað þau Kormák aldrei sjást skulu. Kormákur gengur inn og bar hann skjótara að en þá varði og varð þeim bilt.
