The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Síðan létu þeir í haf og velktust úti lengi og komu við
Hálogaland um haustið og brotnaði kjölurinn undan skipinu.

Björn hét góður bóndi. Hann tók við Þorgilsi, Þorfinni og Kol
en Þorsteinn, Þorleifur og Starkaður vistuðust þar í nánd.
Snemmendis bættu þeir skip sitt.

Sá maður hvarflaði þar um land er Randviður hét. Hann var
illmenni mikið. Hann kom til Bjarnar bónda og kvaðst vilja
taka við dóttur hans er Ynghildur hét eða berðist við hann ef
hann vildi það heldur. Þorsteinn vildi berjast við þenna
mann.

"Eigi vildum vér," segir Þorgils, "að þú hefðir þig í hættu
fyrir illmenni þetta og vil eg heldur berjast við hann."

Þorgils finnur Randvið og bað hann láta bónda vera í friði,
gamlan mann. Hann kvaðst einskis mundu hans orð um það virða.

Þorgils mælti: "Eg vil leysa bónda."

Þorgils gengur á hólm við Randvið og höggur þegar skjöld hans
ónýtan. Því næst höggur hann kappann sundur í miðju en við
höggið skaut Randviður sverðinu utan á kné Þorgilsi og særði
hann. Það sár greri svo að fótur hans sá var skemmri síðan og
varð hann aldrei óhaltur. Björn þakkar honum vel og bauð
Þorgilsi fé en hann kvaðst það ekki til fjár gert hafa.
Skildu þeir vinir.
