The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eftir það létu þeir í haf og höfðu harða útivist þar til er
þeir sáu land. Þá tók af byrina og kom á norðanveður hvasst
og rak þá undan tólf daga. Síðan kom sunnanveður hvasst og
sigldu tvö dægur að landinu. Þá vildi Þorgils eigi lengur
sigla láta. Hann var þá tvö dægur í austri. Þá höfðu gengið
átta áföll. Starkaður bauð honum að fara frá austri. Þá kom
áfall hið níunda og var það mest. Það rak Þorgils af
austurbitanum og sló sveininn Þorfinn úr knjám honum og
utanborðs.

Þá mælti Þorgils: "Sú bylgja gekk nú yfir að eigi þarf að
ausa."

Báran kastaði inn aftur sveininum lifanda.

Hann mælti þá: "Stórum stöplar nú yfir faðir minn."

Þorgils mælti þá: "Ausi hver sem má."

Þeir gerðu svo og gátu upp ausið. Samdægris kom blóðspýja að
sveininum og andaðist hann. Tveim nóttum síðar þá sáu þeir
Hjörleifshöfða. Þeir komu í Arnarbælisós. Nú vildu þeir fara
með lík Þorfinns til kirkju. Þorgils kvað þá lengi fylgst
hafa, sagði þá og ekki að svo búnu skilja mundu. Þorsteinn
spurði Starkað hvort hann vildi heldur teygja Þorgils á land
eða fara með líkið til graftrar.
