Wright 1988, 107, prophecy 30): In diebus illis ardebunt quercus per nemora et in ramis tiliarum nascentur glandes ‘In those days oak trees will burn in the forests and acorns will grow on the branches of lindens’ (cf. Reeve and Wright 2007, 150). — [8] enn ‘once more’: This edn follows the interpretation of Skald as the adv. enn ‘once more’, as the word carries full stress in a Type A-line, and the conj. en ‘but’ (so Skj B) cannot do that. Moreover, there is no contrast in sense between the two sentences.
