The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þorgils og Sturla riðu um kvöldið til Dalsmynnis og um morguninn skildust þeir frændur. Reið Þorgils út á Hvanneyri. Var þar fyrir Sigvarður biskup. Tók hann vel við Þorgilsi og talaði fyrir honum margt um skipti þeirra Þórðar Andréssonar og við hvert vandræði hann þóttist þar kominn vera. Beiddi hann Þorgils þar til fulltings ef hann kynni að þurfa. Hét Þorgils að eiga þar að góðan hlut ef hann mætti sér við koma. Skildust þeir með hinum mestum vinmælum. Bauð biskup Þorgilsi heim í Skálaholt um haustið þá er hann vildi koma. Reið Þorgils þá út um kvöldið á Kalastaði. Þar hófu þeir bónorð við Eirnýju dóttur Halldórs prests fyrir hönd Ásbjarnar Illugasonar og svaraði hún því seinlega en Halldór prestur og Þorsteinn son hans tóku því vel. Þorgils var í Saurbæ aðra nóttina og varð öngvu keypt. Reið Þorgils á brott og Þorsteinn reið á leið með honum og bauð honum til Hests. Skildust þeir þar Einar og Þorgils og gaf Einar honum stóðhross góð og uxa sex vetra gamlan og kvað þeirra frændsemi skyldi aldrei skilja meðan þeir lifðu. En er Þorgils reið upp eftir héraði riðu bændur að honum og bað hann hver þeirra slíkt af sér að hafa sem hann vildi en margir gáfu honum. Reið hann þá heim norður og þótti sjá ferð röskleg.
