The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þorkell spyr nú brátt hvað um er að vera og þykir sér horfa
til óvirðingar og dóttur sinni ef Kormákur vill þetta eigi
meir festa, sendir eftir Steingerði og fer hún heim.

Narfi hét maður. Hann var með Þorkeli. Hann var hávaðamaður
og skapheimskur, hælinn og þó lítilmenni.

Narfi mælti til Þorkels: "Ef þér eru óskapþekkar komur
Kormáks hingað þá má eg þar skjótt að gera."

Því játti Þorkell.

Um haustið annaðist Narfi um slátrastarf.

Það var eitt sinn er Kormákur kom í Tungu. Sá hann Steingerði
í soðhúsi. Narfi stóð við ketil og er lokið var að sjóða vó
Narfi upp mörbjúga og brá fyrir nasar Kormáki og kvað þetta:

Hversu þykja ketils þér,

Kormákr, ormar?

Hann segir:

Góðr þykir soðinn mör

syni Ögmundar.

Og um kveldið er Kormákur bjóst heim sá hann Narfa og
minntist hann hæðiyrða.

Kormákur mælti: "Það hygg eg Narfi að það mun fyrr fram koma
að eg mun ljósta þig en þú munir ráða ferðum mínum."

Og laust Kormákur hann exarhamarshögg og kvað:

Hvað skaltu, orfa Áli,

ófróðr of mat ræða?

Þér var kerski þeirar

þörf eng við mig Narfi.

Og enn kvað hann:

Spurði frenju fæðir

fréttinn hve mér þætti,

hann sýnist mér heima

hvarmrauðr, ketilormar.

Veit eg að hrímugr hlúki,

hrókr saurugra flóka,

sá er túnvöllu taddi,

tíkr erindi hafði.
