The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Hrómundur og hans menn riðu nú heim.

Og er þeir höfðu litla hríð heima verið talaði Hrómundur:
"Vér skulum auka þremur mönnum og láta bæta virki vort er
mjög er hrörnað og látum sem þeir muni efna það er þeir hétu
eigi góðu og þann fjandskap allan er þeir hétu munu þeir eigi
láta undan ganga."

Síðan sendu þeir málin öll til meðferðar Skeggja í Miðfjörð
og fóru mál þessi til alþingis og urðu Austmennirnir allir
sekir um hrossastuld. En Hrómundur og synir hans sátu heima
um þingið en Austmenn bjuggust í burt frá Melum og mæltu vel
til Þóris. Þeir ætluðu að búa skip sitt og lá leið þeirra um
Fagrabrekku og voru þeir Hrómundur úti feðgar.

Helgi mælti: "Það skyldi verða að yður stæði gott ekki af
virki þessu og þá skyldi yður síst lið að því verða er yður
lægi mest við og vel mætti eg sjá þig blóðgan Hrómundur og
sonu þína."

Hrómundur mælti: "Ekki grunum vér illvilja yðvarn en það
ætlum vér að nokkurir eigi rauðu að snýta áður vér séum við
velli lagðir."

Nú skildu þeir að sinni.
