The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eysteinn konungur lét gera skip mikið í Niðarósi. Það var
gert að vexti og með hætti eftir því sem Ormur hinn langi
hafði verið er Ólafur Tryggvason hafði gera látið. Var þar og
drekahöfuð á fram en krókur á aftur og hvorttveggja gullbúið.
Skip var borðmikið en stafnarnir þóttu nokkuru minni en best
bæri. Hann lét og gera þar í Niðarósi naust bæði svo stór að
afrek var í og ger með hinum bestum föngum og smíðuð ágæta
vel.

Eysteinn konungur var á veislu á Stim á Hússtöðum. Þar fékk
hann bráðasótt þá er hann leiddi til bana. Hann andaðist
fjórða Kalendas Septembris og var lík hans flutt norður til
Kaupangs og er hann þar jarðaður í Kristskirkju. Og er það
mál manna að yfir einskis manns líki hafi svo margur maður í
Noregi jafnhryggur staðið sem Eysteins konungs síðan er
andaður var Magnús konungur, sonur Ólafs hins helga konungs.

Eysteinn var konungur tuttugu vetur að Noregi. En eftir
andlát Eysteins konungs var Sigurður einn konungur í landi
meðan hann lifði.
