The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Síðan fór Finnur á konungs fund og talaði við hann og bað
konung þess að hann skyldi láta þá feðga ná réttindum af
þessu máli. Konungur svaraði styggt og stutt.

Þá mælti Finnur: "Til annars hugði eg af yður konungur en þér
munduð gera mig lögræning þá er eg settist í Kvaldinsey er
fáir vildu aðrir vinir yðrir og sögðu sem satt var að þeir
voru fram seldir er þar sátu og til dauða dæmdir ef Ingi
konungur hefði eigi lýst við oss meira höfðingskap en þú
hafðir fyrir oss séð og mun þó mörgum sýnast sem vér bærum
þaðan svívirðing ef það væri nokkurs vert."

Konungur skipaðist ekki við slíkar ræður og fór Finnur heim.
