The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Þá fór Ögmundur Skoftason á fund konungs. En er hann kom
fyrir konunginn bar hann upp erindi sín og bað konung gera
þeim rétt feðgum. Konungur sagði að það var rétt er hann
mælti og þeir væru firna djarfir.



Þá mælti Ögmundur: "Koma muntu konungur þessu áleiðis, að
gera oss rangt, fyrir sakir ríkis þíns. Mun það hér sannast
sem mælt er að flestir launa illu eða engu er lífið er gefið.
Það skal og fylgja mínu máli að aldrei síðan skal eg koma í
þína þjónustu og engi vor feðga ef eg ræð."



Fór Ögmundur síðan heim og sáust þeir aldregi og Magnús
konungur síðan.
