The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eftir það varði Ingólfur fé þeirra til Íslandsferðar, en
Leifur fór í hernað í vesturvíking.

Hann herjaði á Írland og fann þar jarðhús mikið. Þar gekk
hann í, og var myrkt, þar til er lýsti af sverði því, er
maður hélt á. Leifur drap þann mann og tók sverðið og mikið
fé af honum; síðan var hann kallaður Hjörleifur.

Hjörleifur herjaði víða um Írland og fékk þar mikið fé; þar
tók hann þræla tíu, er svo hétu: Dufþakur og Geirröður,
Skjaldbjörn, Halldór og Drafdittur; eigi eru nefndir fleiri.
En eftir það fór Hjörleifur til Noregs og fann þar Ingólf
fóstbróður sinn. Hann hafði áður fengið Helgu Arnardóttur,
systur Ingólfs.

Þenna vetur fékk Ingólfur að blóti miklu og leitaði sér
heilla um forlög sín, en Hjörleifur vildi aldri blóta.
Fréttin vísaði Ingólfi til Íslands.

Eftir það bjó sitt skip hvor þeirra mága til Íslandsferðar;
hafði Hjörleifur herfang sitt á skipi, en Ingólfur félagsfé
þeirra, og lögðu til hafs, er þeir voru búnir.
