The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um vorið eftir bjuggust þeir fóstbræður að fara í hernað og
ætluðu til móts við sonu Atla jarls. Þeir fundust við
Hísargafl, og lögðu þeir Hólmsteinn bræður þegar til orustu
við þá Leif. En er þeir höfðu barist um hríð, kom að þeim
Ölmóður hinn gamli, son Hörða-Kára, frændi Leifs, og veitti
þeim Ingólfi. Í þeirri orustu féll Hólmsteinn, en Hersteinn
flýði.

Þá fóru þeir Leifur í hernað. En um veturinn eftir fór
Hersteinn að þeim Leifi og vildi drepa þá, en þeir fengu
njósn af för hans og gerðu mót honum. Varð þá enn orusta
mikil, og féll þar Hersteinn. Eftir það dreif að þeim
fóstbræðrum vinir þeirra úr Firðafylki. Voru þá menn sendir á
fund Atla jarls og Hásteins að bjóða sættir, og sættust þeir
að því, að þeir Leifur guldu eignir sínar þeim feðgum.

En þeir fóstbræður bjuggu skip mikið, er þeir áttu, og fóru
að leita lands þess, er Hrafna-Flóki hafði fundið og þá var
Ísland kallað. Þeir fundu landið og voru í Austfjörðum í
Álftafirði hinum syðra. Þeim virðist landið betra suður en
norður. Þeir voru einn vetur á landinu og fóru þá aftur til
Noregs.
