Nú af því að heilagrar kirkju lög votta að ljótlegur kaupmáli eða afréttindis ómátulegur má ekki band fullkomna með réttu og af því að þetta mál er til vors dóms komið þá gerum vér þennan úrskurð í nafni föður og sonar og heilags anda , að vald og skipan , forræði og varðveisla Oddastaðar og Ólafskirkju í Vatnsfirði með öllu því sem þar liggur til , hvort sem það er tekið eða ótekið , neytt eða óneytt nema það eitt sem til kirkju þarfinda hefur haft verið , dæmum vér undir Árna biskup í Skálholti og hans löglega eftirkomendur honum og þeim eilíflega fyrir að ráða ,
