The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Óðinn ok Frigg sátu í Hliðskjálfu ok sá um heima alla. Óðinn mælti: Sér þú Agnar fóstra þinn, hvar hann elr börn við gýgi íhellinum? En Geirröðr, fóstri minn, er konungr ok sitr nú að landi. Frigg segir: Hann er matníðingr sá að hann kvelr gesti sína ef hánum þikkja of margir koma. Óðinn segir að það er in mesta lygi. Þau veðja um þetta mál. Frigg sendi eskismey sína, Fullu, til Geirröðar. Hon bað konung varaz að eigi fyrgerði hánum fjölkunnigr maðr sá er þar var kominn íland ok sagði það mark á að engi hundr var svá ólmr að á hann myndi hlaupa. En það var inn mesti hégómi að Geirröðr væri eigi matgóðr ok þó lætr hann handtaka þann mann er eigi vildu hundar áráða. Sá var ífeldi blám ok nefndiz Grímnir ok sagði ekki fleira frá sér þótt hann væri að spurðr. Konungr lét hann pína til sagna ok setja milli elda tveggja ok sat hann þar átta nætr. Geirröðr konungr átti son tíu vetra gamlan ok hét Agnarr eftir bróður hans. Agnarr gekk að Grímni ok gaf hánum horn fullt að drekka, sagði að konungr gjörði illa er hann lét pína hann saklausan. Grímnir drakk af. Þá var eldrinn svá kominn að feldrinn brann af Grímni. Hann kvað:
