The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þat er sagt, at um várit kemr sá maðr til Þorgils, er Ketill hét, ok skorar á hann til viðtöku ok ásjá. Hann var vestfirzkr ok sekr.

Þorgils mælti: "Þú nuint verða fátt undir höfuð at leggjast, ef ek skal við þér taka."

Ketill mælti: "Ef ek kveð nei við því, er þú vill fyrir mik leggja, þá segðu mik þér afhendan. En engi em ek giftumaðr, ok mun oft verða þinnar gæfu við at njóta, ef vel skal takast."

Nú er hann með Þorgilsi um várit.

Ok einn dag um várit mælir Þorgils til Ketils. "Ek vil senda þik norðr í Vestrhóp, ok far eigi erendleysu." Ok setti Þorgils ráð fyrir hann, at hann skyldi drepa einhvern mann fyrir Hafliða Mássyni.

Ketill mælti: "Fara mun ek, en eigi em ek sigrstrangligr," sagði hann.

Ok var þá búin för hans, ok er eigi getit náttstaða hans, fyrr en hann kemr í Vestrhóp til Hafliða Mássonar ok berr upp erendi sín ok vandkvæði öll ok segir, at hann var sekr ok hafði Þorgils eftirmál, ok skorar Ketill á hann til ásjá ok viðrtöku. Ok var hann þar, ok hugnar mönnum vel til hans.
