Wæs þæt beorhte bold | tobrocen swiðe,
eal inneweard | irenbendum fæst,
heorras tohlidene. | Hrof ana genæs,
ealles ansund, | þe se aglæca,
fyrendædum fag, | on fleam gewand,
aldres orwena. | No þæt yðe byð
