The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Ástríður hét kona sú er átt hafði Tryggvi konungur Ólafsson.
Hún var dóttir Eiríks bjóðaskalla er bjó á Oprustöðum, ríks
manns. En eftir fall Tryggva þá flýði Ástríður á brott og fór
á launungu með lausafé það er hún mátti með sér hafa. Henni
fylgdi fósturfaðir hennar sá er Þórólfur lúsarskegg hét. Hann
skildist aldrei við hana en aðrir trúnaðarmenn hennar fóru á
njósn, hvað spurðist af óvinum hennar eða hvar þeir fóru.
Ástríður gekk með barni Tryggva konungs. Hún lét flytja sig
út í vatn eitt og leyndist þar í hólma nokkurum og fáir menn
með henni. Þar fæddi hún barn. Það var sveinn. En er hann var
vatni ausinn þá var hann kallaður Ólafur eftir föðurföður
sínum.

Þar leyndist hún um sumarið en er nótt myrkti og dag tók að
skemma en veður að kólna þá byrjaði Ástríður ferð sína og
Þórólfur með henni og fátt manna, fóru það eina með byggðum
er þau leyndust um nætur og fundu enga menn. Þau komu fram
einn dag að kveldi til Eiríks á Oprustöðum, föður Ástríðar.
Þau fóru leynilega. Sendi Ástríður menn til bæjarins að segja
Eiríki en hann lét fylgja þeim í eina skemmu og setja þeim
borð við hinum bestum föngum.

En er þau Ástríður höfðu þar dvalist litla hríð þá fór brott
föruneyti hennar en hún var eftir og tvær þjónustukonur með
henni og sonur hennar Ólafur, Þórólfur lúsarskegg og Þorgísl
sonur hans, sex vetra gamall. Þau voru þar um veturinn.
