The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Ingiríður drottning og með henni lendir menn og hirð sú er Haraldur konungur hafði haft réðu það að hleypiskip var gert og sent norður til Þrándheims að segja fall Haralds konungs og það með að Þrændir skyldu taka til konungs son Haralds konungs, Sigurð er þá var norður þar og Sáða-Gyrður Bárðarson fóstraði, en Ingiríður drottning fór þegar austur í Vík. Ingi hét sonur þeirra Haralds konungs er var að fóstri þar í Víkinni með Ámunda Gyrðarsyni Lög-Bersasonar. En er þau komu í víkina var stefnt Borgarþing. Þar var Ingi til konungs tekinn. Þá var hann á annan vetur. Að því ráði hurfu Ámundi og Þjóstólfur Álason og margir aðrir stórir höfðingjar.

En er þau tíðindi komu norður til Þrándheims að Haraldur konungur var af lífi tekinn þá var þar til konungs tekinn Sigurður sonur Haralds konungs og hurfu að því ráði Óttar birtingur og Pétur Sauða-Úlfsson og þeir bræður Guttormur af Reini Ásólfsson og Óttar balli og fjöldi annarra höfðingja. Og snerist undir þá bræður nálega allur lýður og allra helst fyrir þess sakar að faðir þeirra var kallaður heilagur og var þeim svo land svarið að undir engan mann annan skyldi ganga meðan nokkur þeirra lifði sona Haralds konungs.
