text and translation

The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Aðils hét konungr, ríkr ok ágjarn. Hann réð fyrir Svíaríki ok
sat at höfuðborginni Uppsölum. Hann spyrr til þessarar konu,
Yrsu, ok býr síðan skip sín. Hann ferr á fund þeira Ólöfar ok
Yrsu. Ólöf gerir veislu í móti Aðils konungi ok tekr við
honum með allri list ok kurteisi. Hann biðr Yrsu drottningar
sér til eiginkonu.

Ólöf svarar: "Spurt muntu hafa slíkan málavöxt sem er á hag
hennar, en ekki setjum vér hér syn fyrir með hennar ráði."

Er nú málit borit upp fyrir Yrsu. Hún sagði svá, kallaði eigi
góðu at skipta, -"því at þú ert óvinsæll konungr."

Þetta gengr þó fram, hvárt sem hún hefir haft þar um orð
fleiri eða færi, ok ferr Aðils í burt með hana, ok er ekki at
þessu kvaddr Helgi konungr, því at Aðils þóttist þeira meiri
konungr. Ekki varð Helgi konungr varr við þetta, fyrr en þau
kómu heim til Svíþjóðar. Gerir þá Aðils konungr virðuligt
brullaup til hennar.

Ok nú spyrr Helgi konungr þetta ok verðr nú við hálfu verr en
áðr. Hann hvílir í einni útskemmu ok ekki fleiri manna. Ólöf
er nú burt ór sögunni. Þannig ferr nú fram um hríð.
