The identity of this Irish woman is unknown, but she could have been the mother of Magnús’s son, Haraldr gilli(-kristr) ‘Servant (of Christ)’, who later returned to Norway and ousted his nephew, Magnús inn blindi ‘the Blind’ Sigurðarson, from the throne.
