Note to Anon Leið 14VII

[5-8]: God’s establishment of Sunday as a day of rest is recorded in Gen. II.2: conplevitque Deus die septimo opus suum quod fecerat et requievit die septimo ab universo opere quod patrarat ‘and on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done’.
