[3-4] svipti sagna ‘the mover of troops [LEADER = Þórr]’: Here, as so often in this poem, a man-kenning is used to refer to the god Þórr (see Introduction above). Cf. hrœrir sagna ‘the leader of the troops [= Loki]’ Þjóð Haustl 9/1.
