5. Editors’ Manual
This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.
A new, scaled-down version of the Editors’ Manual, containing all items pertinent to the editing of skaldic poetry and incorporating changes and modifications agreed at the 2006 and 2007 General Editors’ meetings, is to be produced. This will be made available to all Contributing Editors for download from the skaldic website within the next month. Please note that material already submitted or substantially completed under the old guidelines will not need to be redone, but we would be very grateful if the new guidelines could be followed for work in progress. Changes include a new set of agreed abbreviations, and some alterations to the format for presenting edited work in order to facilitate the generation of data from the database. Further information will be distributed when the new manual is available.
