The first month of the funded part of the project has involved the development of an online form for adding lexical variants. This form analyses the base text and variant to which it is linked in order to attempt to align the two (where there are the same number of words) or allow for manual realignment. It also helps find lemmas to link to the headwords and assists in the creation of compounds and, where relevant, compound lemmas.
