1. Extended poems, complete or fragmentary

This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.

Verses will be considered to be from extended poems if:

a. They are labelled as such in the prose work(s) in which they are quoted.

b. There are strong indications, especially of content, but also occasionally of style or metre, in favour of assigning them to extended poems known to have existed.

Evidence of types a) and b) should be mentioned, and distinguished clearly, in the Introduction to the poem, and any doubts or difficulties signalled.
