Unique objects of any type are treated in a way analogous to manuscripts and inscriptions: they belong to collections or catalogues, they have images and a geographical location. The picture on an object with a visual representation relevant to the project is analogous to the text on an inscription or in a manuscript, but it does not contain (normally) linguistic information in the form of a text. Nevertheless, if we are to link to these objects we need a data category that is analogous to that of a text section such as a stanza or chapter, which is the basis of linking information about the religions to the textual corpora.
To do this, the object must be documented in the ‘mss’ table, but a link must be made to the textual corpora in the form of a picture.
