III. Special and abbreviated bibliographical references

This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.

All parenthetical references in your text should be keyed to an alphabetical list of works cited (entitled Bibliography). In some cases, it has been determined to use abbreviated bibliographical references for frequently cited works, and these will be listed in two sections at the beginning of the complete bibliography which will form Volume IX of this edition. Where works (designated below) are separately listed as abbreviated references, the following procedures should be observed:
