8. Split words in text
This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.
Use the optional form to split compound words for analysing kennings or to clarify the references in the apparatus and notes the text, prose and translation, variant apparatus and notes will all be updated with the changes.
Enter an underscore _ into the word at the point it is to be split in each of the text, prose and translation boxes. If you have done this correctly, the boxes will turn orange and be ready to be updated. No space will be added between the words - if a space is required, you will have to enter it in the text/prose stages.
You can also add words here by selecting the previous word and adding an underscore and the new word to all three boxes
