Note: It is no longer necessary to use ReykholtTimes to prepare texts for the project. If you use another font, however, ensure that it is fully Unicode-compliant.
ReykholtTimes is a font developed specifically for internal use in the skaldic project. It overcomes some problems in translating between Macs and other platforms and contains characters specifically for the project. It is not designed for publication. No support is given for users who choose to use it for other purposes. Please not also that it is not possible to obtain legal rights to use the font for publication. Instructions on using the font are found in the Editors’ Manual (2nd edn), p. 77ff. Version 2.3 adds the 'half slash' found in younger mss - this is inserted the same way as the Spanish inverted exclamation mark (¡) in standard fonts. Revision 1 (2.3.1) fixes a problem with the printing of the equals sign and display of the left curly bracket. Version 2.4 adds two bow-punctuation characters for marking bind runes.
The font is in TrueType format and should be compatible with recent Windows and Mac operating systems:

ReykholtTimes should be available when you next run your programs - if you need to use the fonts immediately, close the program and restart it.
