3. Referent list
This is not currently part of the peer-reviewed material of the project. Do not cite as a research publication.
The following are lists of all valid referents, organised first alphabetically and then according to the order in Meissner. There are sometimes slight differences from what one would expect of a strict translation from Meissner’s German. Such differences are based on a consideration of the kennings themselves. This list may be updated. The most up-to-date version of the kenning referent list is found in the project database.
