Concerning Skj A, the experience of many scholars is that the main text is normally quite accurate, as are the variant readings, though the latter in particular may contain minor transcription slips, or more significant errors or omissions. It is also the case that the range of mss used in Skj is incomplete for some verses. Although a remarkable achievement, therefore, Skj A cannot be regarded as wholly reliable.
