Leiða skal ek þik, Máría móðir
mín, í dýrð, kvað skepnu tínir,
heiðr ok vald ok í himna prýði
hæsta, skipa ek þik mér at næsta;
meiri dýrð þá ek miklu af hirði
mánabryggju, en nokkurt hyggi
mannligt brjóst, þótt mart gott kunni;
mætust talar svá himnesk sæta.  (hrynhent)
