Konungr náði meiða heiðit folk, þats flýði skundila undan ferð; illr hreimr varð í helli. Enn bautt þrælum djǫfuls aftíg lífs, þás unnuð gamalt vígi; ósæl ǫld beið kvǫl í eldi.
