Anon Sól 5VII/1 — stóð ‘got’

Upp hinn stóð;        ilt hann hugði;
        eigi var þarfsamliga þegit;
synð hans svall;        sofanda myrði
        fróðan fjölvaran.

Hinn stóð upp; hann hugði ilt; eigi var þegit þarfsamliga; synð hans svall; myrði fróðan fjölvaran sofanda.

That one [the guest] got up; he had evil in mind; it [the host’s generosity] was not received gratefully; his sin swelled up; he murdered the wise, very cautious sleeping man.
