Anon Mgr 28VII/8 — sæl ‘blessed’

Höll ítarlig himna stillis,
hásæti valið aldar gætis
giftu fyld og guðdóms krafti,
giefi mier orð til þinna stefja.
Yfirþjóðkonungs allra jöfra
öllu góðu í himna höllu
ræðr og stýrir mær og móðir
Máría sæl hjá dróttni várum.

Ítarlig höll stillis himna, valið hásæti gætis aldar, fyld giftu og krafti guðdóms, giefi mier orð til stefja þinna. Mær og móðir yfirþjóðkonungs allra jöfra ræðr og stýrir öllu góðu í höllu himna, sæl Máría hjá dróttni várum.

May the glorious hall of the prince of the heavens [= God (= Christ)], the chosen high-seat of the guardian of people [= God (= Christ)], filled with luck and the power of the Godhead, give me words for your refrains. The Virgin and mother of the supreme king of all princes [= God (= Christ) > = Mary] rules and governs everything good in the hall of the heavens, blessed Mary, next to our Lord.
