Anon Mgr 22VII/5 — viti ‘know’

Bragnings talar svá brúðrin signuð
byrjar hválfs af sinni álfu
full miskunnar frægri allri
fljóða sveit við skírðar þjóðir:
‘Hvar viti þier, það er harm ber meiri,
heimligt fljóð, en dróttins móðir;
að sönnu er mier, sem stálið stinna
standi bjart í gegnum hjarta.

Signuð brúðrin bragnings hválfs byrjar talar svá af álfu sinni, full miskunnar, frægri allri sveit fljóða, við skírðar þjóðir: ‘Hvar viti þier heimligt fljóð, það er ber meiri harm en móðir dróttins; að sönnu er mier, sem stálið stinna standi bjart í gegnum hjarta.
