‘On Friday [lit. fast-day] next to famous Christ I first decided to follow our Lord with my two sisters and so also Mary Magdalene. When Pilate sentenced the son of God [= Christ] to execution and death at the wish of the people, the Jews led him away and mocked him, laughed and rejoiced; in addition, they beat him.
