Kálf Kátr 10VII/4 — helgan ‘Holy’

‘Jésús Kristr er drottinn drottna;
dýrka þú hann’, kvað falda Nanna,
‘föður og son bið frá þier leiða
fjandans tál og helgan anda.
Skíraz láttu, skatna stýrir’,
skorð mælti það vizku borða,
‘leyndar skaltu lýsa syndir
lærðri sveit en kasta flærðum’.

‘Jésús Kristr er drottinn drottna; dýrka þú hann’, kvað Nanna falda, ‘bið föður og son og helgan anda leiða frá þier fjandans tál. Láttu skíraz, stýrir skatna’, það mælti skorð borða vizku, ‘skaltu lýsa leyndar syndir lærðri sveit en kasta flærðum’.

‘Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords, worship him’ spoke the Nanna <goddess> of headdresses [WOMAN], ‘ask the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit to remove from you the devil’s deceit. Let yourself be baptised, ruler of men [KING]’, this the prop of embroidery [WOMAN] spoke with wisdom, ‘you must proclaim hidden sins to the learned host and cast off falsehood’.
