Anon Hsv 94VII/2 — ræðr ‘has command’

Aldraðr maðr        ef fyrir aurum ræðr
        ok dregr sekk saman,
vinum sínum        skal sá vel duga
        ok vera góðr gjafa.

Ef aldraðr maðr ræðr fyrir aurum ok dregr saman sekk, skal sá duga vinum sínum vel ok vera góðr gjafa.

If an elderly man has command of wealth and gathers together a hoard, he must help his friends well and be generous with gifts.
