Anon Hsv 30VII/5 — hverju ‘every’

Metnað þinn,        þótt þik menn lofi,
        lát eigi magnaz til mjök;
hælins manns orði        þarftu eigi hverju at trúa;
        sjálfr kunn þú sjálfan þik.

Lát eigi metnað þinn magnaz til mjök, þótt menn lofi þik; þarftu eigi at trúa hverju orði hælins manns; kunn þú sjálfr þik sjálfan.

Do not let your pride become too great, even though people are praising you; you do not need to believe every word of a boastful man; you yourself [must] know yourself.
