[4] fróns sólar ‘of the land of the sun’: Although the sky- or heaven-kenning frón sólar occurs elsewhere only in an anonymous helmingr on the Crucifixion quoted in Anon (FoGT) 6/2III to illustrate the figure of chronographia (SnE 1848-87, II, 196; TGT 1884-6, 123), heaven-kennings on the same model occur very frequently in Christian verse.
