GunnLeif Merl II 60VIII/1 — Sumar ‘Some’

Sumar sœkjask at,         en sumar firrask;
bregða ljósi         ok litum fǫgrum.
Berjask vindar         — þau eru veðr mikil —
ok hljóm gera         meðal himintungla.

Sumar sœkjask at, en sumar firrask; bregða ljósi ok fǫgrum litum. Vindar berjask ok gera hljóm meðal himintungla; þau eru veðr mikil.

Some will approach each other and some draw away; change their light and their beautiful colours. The winds will contend and cause tumult between the heavenly bodies; those are great storms.
