GunnLeif Merl I 103VIII/9 — guðs ‘of God’

Heilir allir,         þeirs hlýtt hafa,
fleinvarpaðir         frœði þessu.
Geri gótt gumar         en glati illu,
bíði bráða         bót afruna,
hafi hylli guðs         ok himinríki.

Heilir allir fleinvarpaðir, þeirs hafa hlýtt frœði þessu. Gumar geri gótt en glati illu, bíði bráða bót afruna, hafi hylli guðs ok himinríki.

Hail all barb-throwers [WARRIORS] who have listened to this lore. Let men do good and shun evil, experience a speedy remedy for their errors, have the grace of God and the heavenly kingdom.
