[6] røðr: This is an obscure word that is omitted in R, and it is not clear whether it has been transmitted correctly (spelled ‘ro᷎dr’ (), ‘roðr’ (A) and ‘rǫðr’ (B)). Røðr could be a variant of ráði, a poetic term for ‘boar’ (see ráði under rái in l. 5 and ÍO: röður, røðr).
