Ólhv Hryn 7II/3 — Þrœndir ‘the Þrœndir’

Hauksnjallr tók þá hersa stillir
hæra nafn en mundang væri;
Þrœndir efldu þengil reyndan;
þungr magnaðisk agi bragna.

Hauksnjallr stillir hersa tók þá hæra nafn en mundang væri; Þrœndir efldu reyndan þengil; þungr agi bragna magnaðisk.

The hawk-brave ruler of hersar [= Skúli] then took a higher title than was fitting; the Þrœndir supported the tried prince; the heavy turmoil of the people increased.
