The host of hersar and the chieftains grew tired then of holding out longer against Lúfa (‘Shaggy-locks’) [Haraldr]; each of the valiant vikings who could go fled from Hafrsfjorden.

Context: At the battle of Hafrsfjǫrðr (Hafrsfjorden), Haraldr’s opponent King Kjǫtvi gets away onto an islet so that he cannot be taken, and his army flees, some by ship and some on land.
