text and translation

The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

og varð það út af gjört með öllum herrunum , að Maximíanus skuli fara með allan þann her er hann gæti til fengið austur og vestur um öll þau lönd og ríki er í þeim áttum liggja og fyrirkoma öllum kristnum mönnum sem hann gæti fyrirkomið , svo gjörsamlega að hver sem ekki vildi göfga guða þeirra Júpíter og Appoló og önnur fleiri sem hvert ríki hefði áður dýrkað , þá skyldi hann fullt vald hafa til þess að deyða og láta deyða alla þá er á móti þessu dirfðist að mæla eður halda .
