Hér eftir lifðu þau í sínum dauðlegum syndum bæði dag og nótt , þar til svo kemur til efnis einn dag að faðir hennar , eftir guðs forsjá og tilskikkan , gengur til kirkju , og fellur fram fyrir vora frú og þenkir upp á sínar syndir hvað óbærilegar þær séu , og hversu hann hefur sinni sál fortapað ef hann deyr þar með iðranarlaus .
